Why did the gentiles follow Jesus?

Asked 3 years ago

Even though Jesus said that he "was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel'," the non-Israelites followed Him. Why? I don't understand why others followed Him when he was only sent to those in Israel. Did Jesus accept them? I'd be grateful if someone can explain.

In Matthew 15:24, Jesus said that he was only sent to the lost sheep of Israel. This scripture points out that Jesus did not only come for the Israelites (believers) alone. He also came for the Gentiles (non-believers). Jesus came to save the lost for God’s kingdom.
