Are homeschooled children more successful than public schoolers?

Asked 3 years ago

Hello. I'm strongly considering homeschooling my children because of COVID-19, and everything being constantly up and down. I think it could provide them with more stability. What is the successor rate between public schoolers and homeschoolers? Are there any negative effects I should be aware of?

Research shows that the graduation rate of homeschooled children is 67%, and public schooled children are only 59%. Both schooling methods have pros and cons. A public school has a more structured environment, while a homeschool is more informal and can be adapted to the needs of the child.
