Can Tahini be used in baking Christmas Cookies?

If I am to bake Christmas cookies, can I add tahini? I think that the nuttiness of sesame seeds would go well with ginger, as peanut butter would. However, I'm not too sure what tahini would do to the cookie batter. Ad if I do use it, should I leave out the butter entirely or still use it?

Butter can be replaced with tahini when baking Christmas cookies. Not only does tahini makes baking easier as you do not need to wait for it to melt, but it is also healthier and adds to the taste of the cookies. So you will not even miss the butter in the cookies.
