Artza (ארצה) is a Biblical Hebrew word meaning “towards the land.” Our name is meant to capture the experience we hope to bring you – a journey “towards the Land” of Israel. A land with rolling hills and dusty sands. A land that is flowing with milk and honey. A land with rich history and a vibrant future. A land filled with faith and promise.

How it began
Bringing Holy Land Closer to Home
Artza began with a simple idea: helping people feel genuinely connected to Israel in a deeper, more meaningful way. Not just as a destination people read about or hope to visit one day, but as a living land filled with history, faith, culture, and real people whose stories continue today.
At the same time, Artza was created to support small Israeli artisans and family-owned businesses by sharing their craftsmanship and traditions with homes around the world.
What started as a handful of regional boxes quickly grew into something much more personal: a journey through the Holy Land designed to bring its places, flavors, stories, and biblical significance to life in a tangible way. Each box invites subscribers to experience a different region of Israel through carefully selected products and the people behind them.
Artza has since grown into a community of more than 85,000 families worldwide who receive a new piece of Israel four times a year, creating an ongoing connection to the land, its history, and its people.

Every Item Begins With a Journey in Israel
Artza is not curated from a warehouse. Our team is based in Israel. They walk the markets of Jerusalem, visit workshops in Nazareth, and travel to farms in Galilee. Every item in every box has been physically handled, evaluated, and selected by people who are present in the land it comes from.
We look for three things in everything we include: authenticity, craftsmanship, and story. The provenance of a piece is as important to us as the piece itself.
