Christmas vs. Epiphany: What are the Differences?

I recently heard that the Catholics celebrate Epiphany. Is this the same as Christmas for other Christians? In Catholicism, was Jesus considered to be born on that day? Thanks in advance. I look forward to learning what happened on the Epiphany.

Epiphany and Christmas is not the same celebration. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Epiphany is the celebration of the day on which the three wise men, or three kings, visited Jesus twelve days after his birth. Christian churches remember this day as the day that Jesus was baptized. It is custom to remove Christmas decorations on Epiphany.
