Does sea salt go stale?

Is there an expiry date on dead sea salt? How often should one use it?

No, there is no expiry date for sea salt, or Dead Sea salt, but there is an expiry date for table salt. Check if the salt has any additives, such as iodine. If so, the shelf life is about 5yrs. If the color changes, it is still edible if stored properly (away from moisture) and not contaminated.
