How long does it take to walk the Wadi Qelt?
We'll be visiting Israel and want to walk up the Wadi Qelt. Like many places in the known holy land, it's steeped in ancient history that we would like to explore. Any idea how long the Wadi Qelt is and how long it will take us?

The journey will take hikers from the town of Hizma all the way down to Jericho. Although this journey may be slightly shorter when starting in Jerusalem, the overall distance for this hike is roughly 15.5 miles (25km), at moderate difficulty. Many tourists divide the hike into two separate days.
