Is Acre (Akko) in Israel worth visiting?
Hi, I'm planning a trip to the holy land, and want to know if Acre is a good travel destination, would you say that it is a safe place to visit?

Acre was an important city during the Crusades and was the site of several battles. It has fascinating architecture, cultural ruins and sights worth seeing. Some things to do in Acre, explore the old town, the walls of Akko, the market of Akko and the Turkish bazaar, hospitallers fortress, the Turkish baths and the templars tunnels.
