Is it safe to walk around Jerusalem?
I grew up being able to walk around at night and be perfectly safe. So I was wondering, if I were to go to the holy land, would it safe to walk around at night?

Pretty much yes. I never had or heard about any problems for visitors during the day and also at night, I felt safer there than in many other cities I visited. We walked through Old City even on Friday night! Just be polite, respectful and use your brain.
