Palm Sunday is usually celebrated by all Christian denominations, including Catholics. It commemorates the day of Jesus’ triumphant entrance to Jerusalem in the week leading up to his crucifixion. Today, Palm Sunday is the first day of Passion Week (Holy Week) which culminates in Easter.
