The Gabriel that appeared to Daniel in Daniel 8 and 9 is the Angel known as Angel Gabriel. Daniel had so many dreams about several beasts signifying future kingdoms, greats, and world power. He needed someone to interpret these dreams to him and give him insight and understanding. “And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.” (Daniel 9:22)
