The three parts of the tabernacle include the outer court, the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies. According to Bible scholars, the outer court signifies the body. The Holy Place symbolises the soul, while the Holy of Holies symbolises the spirit. The Holy of Holies contained the Ark of the covenant.
