What is a good prayer before Christmas eve dinner?
We're having a family gathering on Christmas, including a big family dinner. I know that I'll be expected to give a prayer and bless the Christmas food, but so far I'm coming up blank. Do you know of any?

Dear God, we want to thank you for keeping us together and giving us the opportunity to witness another holiday season. We also want to thank you for your son Jesus Christ who is the reason for the season. We give thanks for this food as we celebrate Jesus, our saviour and his love for us. With gladness in our hearts, we pray, Amen.
