Frankincense can be used as incense and also as a perfume. It was one of the gifts presented by the wise men in the Bible to baby Jesus at his birth. Bible scholars say the significance of presenting Frankincense to Jesus signified that Jesus is a deity. Apart from the spiritual implications, some scholars say Frankincense, along with gold and myrrh are gifts that were presented to royalties at that time.
