The promise of the land of canaan and the promise of the messiah.
God promised the descendants of Abraham (the children of Israel) a land flowing with milk and honey (Canaan). They inherited this land under the leadership of Joshua.
God also promised a messiah that was going to come to redeem the world back to their creator. God promised to send his son Jesus to come to earth to die for the human race. This promise was fulfilled in the new testament.
