Where is Ein Gedi mentioned in the Bible?
Hi, I'm a passionate Christian, and I'm going to travel to Israel soon! I would love to visit Ein Gedi, and I'm trying to find where it is in the bible so that I can share it with my husband, but I can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The city En Gedi is mentioned a few times in the Bible. The first time we read about this city is in Genesis 14:7, where it is still called Hazazon Tamar, where the Amalekites and Amorites used to live. We also read about En Gedi in Joshua 15:62; 1 Samuel 23:21; 24:1-2 as well as 2 Chronicles 20:2.
