The city of Dan is the northernmost city in the land of Israel. It is located in the upper part of Galilee in the Galilee Panhandle area. It is bordered by Mount Lebanon to the south; and the Hermon Mountains to the east and north. It is located close to the borders of Syria and Philistine.
