Are Armageddon and Megiddo the same place?
I'm confused. Is Armageddon also a place, separate from Megiddo, or was it the same place with two different names?

It seems they’re basically the same place. It is thought that the word Armageddon is derived from Megiddo, since the prefix ‘har’ means “hill” in Hebrew. Thus Armageddon can be read as “Hill of Megiddo.” In fact, if you search ‘where is the location of Armageddon’ online, Megiddo will come up.
