Laffa is a Middle Eastern bread, thicker and chewier than pita bread. Because of its thickness, it is used to wrap meats like kebabs and shawarma. It is also used to scoop up hummus. Pita is a yeast-leavened flatbread. When being cooked it puffs up and forms a pocket that is then filled with different ingredients.
