All foods are available in Israel – even non-kosher food like pork, and seafood. However, most restaurants/supermarkets are kosher and don’t mix meat and milk. Avoid any food that has been prepared unhygienically or has passed the expirey date. Stick to busy restaurants where locals eat and there is a regular turnover of fresh ingredients.
