What famous souvenirs can I buy in Israel?
Hi, I'm looking for souvenir recommendations for a friend of mine. What are the best souvenirs to buy from the Holy Land?

If you like dates, Israeli dates are the best on the planet.
Anything with date honey, olive wood items from Bethlehem, Dead Sea salt or mineral items (make sure they’re really Dead Sea minerals, though as some skin care items can be fakes) and Israeli wine. The gift shop at Christ Church Jerusalem has a lot of general interest knicknacks too, without all the bargaining and rip-offs of the suk.

The best souvenirs to buy in Israel are those that represent crafts, and products made in the Holy Land for thousands of years, such as Israeli ceramics, leatherwork, handmade jewellery, brass utensils, and olive wood objects. Other Israel souvenir ideas include traditional foods such as dates, olive oil, and wine. There are many Christian-themed Holy Land souvenirs like an olive wood crusifix, rosary, or water from the River Jordan.
