Hosea chapter 1 and 2 shows that Gomer (his wife) was a prostitute, “…Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredome….. So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim.” He took a prostitute as a wife so she kept cheating on him and went out to meet other men. She committed adultery over and over again.
