How expensive is olive wood?

I want to order artisan products made from olive wood in Bethlehem, but before I do so, I want to find out what the quality of the wood is and whether I can expect to pay a high price or not.

Olive doesn't come cheap, it is quite expensive. The lowest price will be around $35/bf. This high price is a result of the gamble made by wholesalers when buying olive logs. The thing with olive is that your yield isn't going to be very good. It is either it has some amount of defects or it is totally unusable.
