There are four ways to climb Masada, with Snake Path as the most famous and Roman Ramp the easiest and the shortest. Snake Path takes from one to one and half an hour. It´s wide and sometimes crowded. For a spectacular view, I would choose Runner Path or Elazar Mountain Trail.

Masada has four different mountain trails. Elazar Mountain trail is 4.1 kilometers and takes about 2,5 hours. The “Snake” path is 2.7 kilometers and takes about 90 minutes. The Roman Ramp path is 0.7 kilometers and takes about 30 minutes. The “Runner” path is 3.7 kilometers and takes about 2 hours.
