Joseph of Nazareth: How old was Jesus when he died?

The Bible didn’t say exactly when Joseph died. In fact, the last time Joseph was mentioned was when he went with Mary to look for Jesus in the temple.

Jesus was often referred to as the carpenter’s son, this might show that the Carpenter (Joseph) may be alive during Jesus ministry. However, just before Jesus’s death on the cross, he told John to take care of Mary (his mother) in John 19:27 “Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.” This may be an indication that Mary was without and husband at the point of Jesus Christ’s death.
