Is Mount Moriah and Golgotha the same place?
Asked 3 years ago
I'm confused. Whenever I look for Golgotha, I find Mount Moriah. Is this right?

We don't really know if Mt. Moriah and Golgotha were the same place. But they were very close to each other in Jerusalem. Today, the traditional site of Golgotha, where Christ was crucified is in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. And Mount Moriah is said to be Temple Mount where the Sacred Temple stood, where Abraham bound Isaac, and where The Dome of the Rock stands today.
