Is Israeli food spicy?

Hi, what kind of food do Israelis eat? I seem to get the impression that it is spicy food, but someone was telling me otherwise. Also, what spices do they use? Thanks.

Israelis eat mainly a healthy Mediterranean diet based on fresh produce, dairy, fish, and meat. Even Israeli street food is healthier than in most countries. Israeli food culture is packed with spices of different flavours. Prominent spices in Israeli food include cumin, turmeric, pepper, paprika, sumac, cardamom, baharat, and cinnamon. Israeli food is often made spicy and “hot” with chilis and garlic.
