What spices are used in Israel?
Hey guys, I will be cooking up a feast for my family next weekend, and they've chosen Israeli cuisine. What are some popular Middle-Eastern herbs and spices (even recipes) that you can recommend?

Some popular herbs and spices used in Israeli cuisine are Za’atar, a mixture of herbs used in all kinds of dishes. Baharat is a mixture of Middle Eastern spice used on meats, soups and stews. Hawaij is a Yemeni mixture of spices used in soups and coffee. Carob powder has a chocolatey taste and is used in place of cocoa powder. Cardamom, dill and coriander are added to salads and stews.
