The main significant reason is that the Nimrod's castle is the largest castle remaining in Israel from the Crusade era or the Middle Ages. It spans back to around the 13th century. Apart from this, it is situated on Mount Hermon, which is the highest and only snow-capped mountain in Israel. Just below the Fortress, you will find rivers and waterfalls from the lush Banias Forest. It is a beautiful sight to behold and reading reviews online will only convince you further.
